The mission of the George Lopez Foundation is to create positive, permanent change for underprivileged children, adults and military families confronting challenges in education and health, as well as increasing community awareness about kidney disease and organ donation. 

The George Lopez Foundation helps sponsor a Kidney Disease and Transplant Camp for kids with kidney disease. The funds they raise from their annual Celebrity Golf Tournament helps send over 250 children to camp for a week they'll never forget. Campers receive onsite medical attention and get to meet other children that can relate to what they are going through. It's a wonderful program that they help support every June in the summer. 

George Lopez is very into giving back to the community. In addition to being a kidney transplant recipient himself and raising awareness about kidney disease and organ donation, he also uplifts aspiring artists.
